Class Schedule

CONTINUING EDUCATION COURSES - 1999

1 . Continuing Education is offered for Commissioners who:

  1. Want to continue their education after receiving their Doctoral.
  2. Are unable to participate in the full schedule of classes.
  3. Do not meet any of the degree requirements.

2. Commissioners who are participating in this program can also register for any of the courses offered in the Bachelor's, Masters' or Doctoral programs.

3. All Continuing Education Courses will be confirmed at the time of registration.

4. CERTIFICATES OF CONTINUING EDUCATION will be presented to registered Commissioners who complete at least 4 hours of instruction and do not meet any of the degree requirements.

COURSES:

CE 111 - HEALTH & SAFETY TRAINING.
This session is the actual Health and Safety Training Course Syllabus of the Boy Scouts of America.

CE 112 - WHAT WOULD YOU DO?
A group participation/discussion session on 10 fascinating situations that commissioners might encounter.

CE 150 - OA UPDATE FOR COMMISSIONERS.
Order of the Arrow is changing to become a more integral part of Scouting. Find out how to use the new OA programs to increase retention, expand program opportunities, and develop leadership in a troop.

CE 311 - LEARNING FOR LIFE/JUVENILE DIVERSION

CE 407 - HOW TO REMOVE A VOLUNTEER.
An open discussion of a topic only recently put in print. The session provides a variety of practical guidelines on this sensitive topic.

CE 450 - HELPING SCOUTMASTERS TO DELIVER THE PROMISE.
Based on the new Philmont training course "Strictly for Scoutmasters." Learn how to help leaders to better deliver the program we promise the boys.
