    ORDER OF THE ARROW DISTINGUISHED
    SERVICE AWARD

This award is presented to OA members for outstanding and cheerful service to the Order of
the Arrow and Scouting over a significant period of time.  This service is generally
at any level beyond the local Lodge.  Most recipients have received this award after
serving as leaders at the Sectional, Regional or National level. Adults receiving this
award have usually served in an advisory capacity for an extended period of time, normally
more than ten years or have served both as a youth leader and an adult with a combined
tenure of more than ten years.

        The
        ScoutingBSA.org web site is a
legacy site of the Viking Council BSA, now Northern Star Council.
This site was the original council site and was active from 1996 to
2002 and run by volunteers.  As the web became more important to
Scouting, the council took over with paid staff.  This site is no
longer maintained but is an interesting snapshot of an early Scouting
web site.    You can share your comments using our
		on-line form or
		send a message to the

        Webmaster.   Thank you
		for visiting! |
