Everyone please plan on assisting at your
local Elementary School or other Join Scouting Night Location!!
Please don't wait to be asked. Offer your services to the Cub Packs
in your area. We can also use help at the Pizza Party Turn-in
location (TBA) There will be more information to come, but
mark your calendars now.
Note
from the Key 3: Thank you for your OUTSTANDING cooperation, your
backing and basic "CAN DO attitude" in assisting the District to come
within 19 members of the June 30th goal! This is outstanding,
considering the horrific start after the events of September 11th, 2001.
Help put Sara and the District in the Winners Circle, we know that if
each Pack or Troop finds a new member, we will surpass our goal with
ease. Remember that a Tiger of today is the Boy Scout of tomorrow.
Lake
Minnetonka is looking for a few Great Unit Commissioners!
That's right, we have openings for a few good men and women to join the
ranks of Unit Commissioners. Dedicated to providing Unit Service
and support, these talented people get to see the best practices of the
Lake Minnetonka Troops and Packs in action. Sharing with the other
Commissioners makes it an incredibly valuable experience that you wil
never forget. We need YOU or your neighbors to volunteer today so
that every Pack will have their own "Best Friend and Resource": a Unit
Commissioner. Want to learn more? Contact
Jeff Walton, District Commissioner, or any other
Unit Commissioner
or Distrct Committee member for details of how to begin a very
rewarding experience.
This reminder message is distributed to about 150 Unit
and District Level Volunteers. Please forward this email to
any Unit Leaders that you work with. This
message is delivered monthly for the advancement of Scouting in the
Lake Minnetonka District. Please forward the names and
email addresses of any leader that would like to be included, as
well as suggestions for desired content. |
Regards,
Jeff Walton
District Commissioner
